Congratulations to our September Dewar Vikings of the Month! These students received a free KONA Ice and a certificate!

Fourth grade teachers at Dewar Elementary School would like to thank Titletown Toys for donating pizza for their Plot Pizza Parlor room transformation.
Students reviewed skills such as "plot pepperoni", "character trait cheese", "best evidence bell peppers", "must infer mushrooms", "themed tomato sauce" and "peppered point of view. " Students applied to work at the pizza parlor by demonstrating they were highly qualified using their knowledge of the skills to answer questions about a recent novel they read.

Mrs. Singletary's and Ms. Shannon's kindergarten class read, "When Grandma Gives You A Lemon Tree. " Then, we used verbs to roll, squeeze, cut, measure, stir, and drink our homemade lemonade. Finally, we tasted Lemonheads and lemon cookies and created a graph of our favorite lemon item. It was Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!
